A Declaration
Jesus Is the Hero
When every other name is forgotten, the name of Jesus will still stand.
This world celebrates many heroes.
We honor men and women for their courage. We recognize soldiers who sacrifice, first responders who run toward danger, doctors who save lives, parents who protect their children, and ordinary people who do extraordinary things.
They deserve our gratitude.
But Jesus Christ stands alone.
No soldier could fight the battle Jesus fought.
No doctor could heal what Jesus came to heal.
No judge could offer the pardon Jesus purchased.
No amount of money could buy what Jesus freely gives.
No earthly hero could accomplish what Jesus accomplished on the Cross.
Jesus didn't just risk His life for you. He gave His life for you.
He knew the pain that awaited Him.
He knew about the betrayal.
He knew about the rejection.
He knew about the nails.
He knew about the Cross.
And He went anyway.
Why?
Because God loves you.
Jesus Christ willingly carried our sin to Calvary. The innocent One suffered for the guilty. The sinless Savior took the place of sinners.
They mocked Him.
They beat Him.
They crucified Him.
They placed His body in a tomb.
And for a moment, it looked like darkness had won.
But the story wasn't over.
The stone could not hold Him.
The grave could not keep Him.
Death could not defeat Him.
Jesus Christ rose from the dead!
And because He lives:
—There is still hope for the hopeless.
—There is forgiveness for the sinner.
—There is mercy for the guilty.
—There is restoration for the broken.
—There is freedom for the captive.
—There is a way home for the person who has wandered far from God.
—And there is eternal life for everyone who places their faith in Jesus Christ.
You may have given up on yourself.
But don't give up on Jesus.
Your past does not frighten Him.
Your failures do not surprise Him.
Your tears are not invisible to Him.
Your darkest night is not too dark for Him.
You may think you've sinned too much.
Come to Jesus.
You may think you've waited too long.
Come to Jesus.
You may feel ashamed of your past.
Come to Jesus.
You may be carrying pain that nobody else understands.
Come to Jesus.
You may have spent years running from God.
Stop running and come home.
Jesus isn't asking you to clean yourself up before approaching Him.
Come as you are.
Bring the failures.
Bring the regrets.
Bring the broken pieces.
Bring the questions.
Bring the tears.
Bring the years you wish you could have back.
Bring it all to Jesus.
Because the same Jesus who saved sinners two thousand years ago still saves sinners today.
The same Jesus who gave hope to broken people still gives hope today.
The same Jesus who forgave still forgives.
The same Jesus who restored lives still restores.
The same Jesus who conquered death is alive forevermore.
This website is not about making a man famous.
It is not about building my name.
It is not about showing the world how good I am.
It is not about convincing anyone that I have lived a perfect life.
I haven't.
This website exists because there is One Name that deserves to be lifted above every other name:
Jesus Christ.
I want the hurting to hear about Him.
I want the discouraged to hear about Him.
I want the person who thinks God has forgotten them to hear about Him.
I want the sinner searching for forgiveness to hear about Him.
I want the person sitting alone wondering whether life still has meaning to hear about Him.
And I want generations who come after me to know exactly where I stood:
I stood with Jesus Christ.
The Cross changed everything.
Jesus didn't die because humanity was already righteous.
He died because we needed a Savior.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
— Romans 3:23
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
— Romans 5:8
Jesus paid a debt we could never pay.
Salvation isn't something we earn by being good enough.
It isn't purchased with money.
It isn't inherited from our parents.
It isn't earned by attending church.
Salvation is found in Jesus Christ.
Jesus declared:
"I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
— John 14:6
That's why I refuse to be ashamed of His name.
That's why I will talk about Him.
That's why I will tell others what He has done.
And that's why this message will continue as long as God gives me an opportunity to share it.
Jesus Is the Hero.
When I am weak—
Jesus is strong.
When I don't know the way—
Jesus is the Way.
When darkness surrounds me—
Jesus is the Light.
When the enemy whispers lies—
Jesus is the Truth.
When guilt reminds me of yesterday—
Jesus reminds me of grace.
When this earthly life eventually comes to an end—
Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life.
And when everything this world considers important has passed away, Jesus Christ will still be King.
So who is my Hero?
Not money.
Not fame.
Not power.
Not politicians.
Not celebrities.
Not myself.
Jesus Christ.
The One who loved me.
The One who died for me.
The One who rose again.
The One who forgives.
The One who saves.
The One who never changes.
The One who will never surrender His throne.
Jesus was Lord yesterday.
Jesus is Lord today.
Jesus will be Lord tomorrow.
"Every knee should bow… And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord."
— Philippians 2:10–11
So let the whole world hear it.
Let my family hear it.
Let my children and grandchildren hear it.
Let strangers who discover this website years from now hear it.
Let anyone who feels lost hear it.
Let anyone who thinks there is no hope hear it.
There is hope.
His name is Jesus.
And until my final breath, my message will remain:
Jesus Christ is Lord.
Jesus Christ still saves.
The Cross still has power.
The tomb is still empty.
And Jesus is the Hero.
To God be all the glory.
If you don't know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, today can be the beginning of a new life.
